Community Falls Support

Compact Response specialise in all aspects of community-based healthcare, by having us support you as well as your loved ones in the event of a non-injury fall, we have the ability and knowledge to asses and then use appropriate equipment to safely lift people from the floor who have fallen at home or place of care. Being centrally located in South Essex, we are able to meet the needs and demands of all out clients in a timely manner. This reduces unnecessary demand to 999, as well as prevents our patients having to attend hospital when they are safely able to remain at home following assessment.

Should following a full comprehensive assessment, our health professionals feel a hospital assessment is needed, we can then request and action the appropriate care pathway, along with giving a full handover to the next health professional ensuring no vital information is missed giving you complete peace of mind.

Compact response has a wide clinical staff base, ranging from Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT’s), as well as Paramedics and doctors where required. Our extensive knowledge and expertise, enable a reduction to unnecessary calls to 999, and also allows quick intervention to prevent patients remaining on the floor for prolonged periods of time.

Our falls support staff are trained to a high standard, all patients that are assessed will receive a full set of clinical observations, and communication will be made to the relevant support services, such as community GP and/or community falls teams, to support the patient long term which will help reduce the risk of repeat falling.

Should an ambulance have been called prior to our arrival, do not worry, our clinicians will take care of everything by communicating a full clinical handover and care pathway(s) actioned by our staff.
